Day 2 - Growing, Parent bird watching us (no worries - we quickly took a pic and left) 

Spring is a time for new life.  Right now we are celebrating the ultimate new life, the new life we have received because Jesus died and rose again for us.  On Sunday we witnessed baby birds that had just hatched.  What a sweet precious thing it was to see.  Don't worry we only looked quickly b/c we did not want the parent bird upset.  Kimberlyn and Blake absolutely adored the baby birds.  The next day, Blake saw a bird out taking a bath in a puddle and he said, "Look there is Mama bird!  Lets go see Baby Bird."  Seeing new life like that, and witnessing a bird instinctively knowing to love and take care of her babies renewed my spirit.  Plus watching our children experience the joy of new life God created was a small piece of Heaven given to us.
