Mutiny 06

Kimberlyn, through going to skills training sessions, was asked to play for the Wylie Soccer Club Mutiny.  She is with the 06 which includes some little girls that we remembered playing against in Rec soccer.  I cannot believe how brave Kimberlyn is to just go out there with a new team and just play.  She has a learning curve for sure to catch up to these girls who have been together for awhile.  But they love her.  The coaches have said they have never seen someone so excited to play soccer.  Anyone who knows Kimberlyn knows that goes for about everything.  She loves everything!  But she can finally narrow her favorite things down to school, reading, dance and soccer.  But she wants me to know she likes everything.
After 2 games with Mutiny their season ended but they had one tournament to play.  The Quickfoot tournament.  Kimberlyn was placed on a team, and while she really has a ways to go to work on speeding up her footwork, she had an absolute blast.  And both Mutiny teams made the finals, so they both got the 1st place trophy!  Kimberlyn really loved that as we have been playing on a Rec team that has not won a single game in 3 years.  Not complaining b/c we have absolutely loved our teams.  But it is hard to get blown out of the water every week.  But Kimberlyn loved every minute with her Rec team.  We will miss it, but it is just too much time to do both.
Oh and 1 more thing, that Quickfoot tournament, the girls were out there from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM - playing game after game without one complaint.  The games were a bit shorter and there was about an hour between each game, but it did make for a long day.  But the kids loved it.  I loved it.  The families are great.

Karlee and Lexi were on her Sandbox Warriors Rec team for 4 seasons.  Now they are together again on Mutiny.

This is the chant the girls say after every game!
The team went to an FC Dallas game together as well on May 25

Add caption, it was frustrating that we were rained on initially, but look what we got to see.  A beautiful full arching Rainbow!

And not only that, A DOUBLE RAINBOW!
