Some of the maintenance work we were able to help with. The Bruehl family's main job was the VBS, but we found ways to help in the repairs and upkeep when we could. Kimberlyn would have liked to have painted more, but there weren't enough paint brushes and she is a bit young for that kind of painting - but we gave her some experience. Thank you, Kera!
Here is a picture of the common room where we held nightly devos, and the little kids played if they were not playing on the playground. We are in the former Rectory. The teens stayed in the former Nunnery. It was really really nice. It does need some TLC, but the craftmanship is unreal.
I said we were here to teach the kids something, but it actually as a great awakening for Jake and I.
