Bruehls Rule: Kimberlyn is 7

This little Beauty is 7 years old now! It seems so cliché to say, "Where does the time go?" But time seems to be flying. It has been so much fun, and so much work these past 7 years! :) She was a tough cookie from about 16 months until almost 3. Now that I know her even better it makes sense. This girl has an iron will. When she is determined to do something, this girl is going to do it. She rarely lets anyone get her down. I have never heard her complain about someone leaving her out (even though it happens - no one alive escapes this) - b/c she actually does not think too much about it. She is as happy to play alone as she is with a friend. Don't get me wrong - this girl is super social--she just doesn't get bogged down in trying to keep up with everyone b/c she really has no interest unless it flows naturally. She did not get this from me - I am sad to say. I want to be more like Kimberlyn in this department. This girl plays rough and tough, but at the same time is very girly.

This year, we decided to have a very small girl's gathering at home to celebrate. We were going to do a big celebration with Ellie at the American Girl store a little later. It was so much fun having a small personal party. We did Christmas crafts, played Just Dance with the Wii, and the girls had a blast just playing in Kimberlyn's room.
