Sisters - Ballet Recital

Kimberlyn had her Ballet performance of "Sisters" on May 9, 2012 at Lovejoy High School.  It was on a Wednesday night b/c it had always been on Memorial Day and most did not love it being on that weekend.  I can see the merit in that, but this date move moved it from Sachse High School to Lovejoy and Sachse is way closer --and it was on a week night.  Not crazy about that as Kimberlyn was testing this week.  Other than those challenges, it was a lovely evening.  Definitely my favorite performance.  Way cute routine from a very special teacher Caren at KCs Dance and Cheer.  And one of the greatest treats of the night is Allison Gilbreath coming to the performance.  Jake invited her on Sunday and Kimberlyn overheard.  She got way excited and said, "You can buy me flowers!"  Then later found her and asked her if she knew there was such thing as pink roses.  LOL!  Hint Hint.  Kids are so funny and can get away with this kind of stuff. We plan to go to Alli's recital on June 2 as well.  We then went to eat at McAlisters after the performance.  Poor Alli had gone from school to her ballet practice, then to Ks performance with nothing to eat.  So we fed that girl afterwards. 

I so need a zoom lens!  Ok - want one. :)
