The Birthday Party

The day started off with the Sachse Christmas Parade.  Papa, Kahuna, Grammy and Robbie took the kids to the parade while Christie, Gramma Jamma and I did errands for the party.  Jake was in the parade with his soccer team.  Here is a picture; Jake is the silly guy in the back with a Santa hat on.

11:30 was go time for the party at Bounce Town in Wylie - same place we held her birthday last year.   They are a great party place.  Very reasonably priced, not far from home, and TONS OF FUN. It began with several girls from her PREK class showing up.  They were so excited to see each other again.  Some are still at CARE doing Kindergarten but several have moved on.  So sweet to see them still love each other so much.  Another sweet thing, every person that came in she introduced them to her totally awesome cousins Braden and Rylan.  Aunt Christie commented how sweet it is that Kimberlyn is so thoughtful.  She totally loves her cousins, but she is also very friendly as well.  Proud Momma right here!

Here are a few of our former PREK, now Kindergarten girls.  Graysen, Kimberlyn, Emma and Heather

Let the Party begin!!!
Even Blake had a friend from class at the party.  Emma's sister Savannah - whose party we will be attending the next day at Chuck E Cheese!

CAKE TIME!

THE THRONE!

The party was a huge success. Not only did the kids have a great time, but the parents did as well.  It was such a great feeling watching the parents talking and getting to know each other.  Some knew each other, others did not.  But everyone got involved getting to know someone.  My dad got to know Hunter's grandfather who is a Varsity Football Referee.  Very fun getting to talk to someone from a referee's perspective.  ;)  Ellie's Great Memaw came to the party with Dara, and seemed to be enjoying herself as well.  Everyone ate our sandwiches we provided, and loved the Say it with Sugar Cake.  Has to be a big party to buy a cake from there, but it is so good!!!
Later that night, Mike, Christie, Jake, Robbie and I went out to celebrate Mike and Christie's 12th Anniversary.  We went to Kellys in Downtown Plano.  Love the atmosphere there.  It was fun taking Robbie out with us as well.  A different kind of crowd for him.  Meanwhile, Papa, Gramma Jamma, Kahuna, and Grammy took care of the kiddos at the hotel they were staying.  Luckily, Blake and Kimbo took a nap after the party, b/c they went swimming and then to Chuck E Cheese!!!  And we are going to Chuck E Cheese tomorrow as well.  ;)  No complaints from the kiddos!!!  And no one is sick so far from this incredibly busy busy day.  Although I keep saying busy b/c it really is a lot; we all had a fabulous time.  It is great to have family around getting to experience life with us.  Praise God!  And it is not over yet.
