Jake and I just celebrated 10 years of greatness on May 19. Last weekend we went out to eat at a Japanese Hibachi grill and had an unexpected really great time. We were expecting great food, but we got great company and a really great cook as well. The people with sat with go all the time and know this cook pretty well, well enough to request him and buy him a drink. The cook did the normal really great show with cooking (better than most actually) but was also giving us a bunch of Mimsa puzzles to figure out as well. Jake is all about puzzles, so he was in Heaven. One of the people we were sitting with was a Rocket Physicist (he has a master in Physics) or something really really smart like that. So it was quite amazing that Jake, the math teacher, was able to solve 2 problems and the Physicist solved 2 problems. But most of the problems, no one could figure out. But watching the cook show us was absolutely amazing. Jake is ready to show everyone, so get ready. Then we were off to an overnight stay at the Holiday Inn to get uninterrupted sleep! Sleep is the best gift ever right now. Here are some of pictures of then and now....Have not taken a 10 year picture yet. I am waiting to schedule with my sweet friend Rachel Cooke.
One Year Anniversary - ate our 1 year old cake and it really was quite tasty still.....This is also our first home (our apartment) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I worked for Citgo at the time and Jake was still finishing his math degree.
